Based on writer and director Brandy M. Berry’s 2016 horror film, Freshwater: The Adapted Movie Novelization is a terrifying retelling of the original film. With some new plot twists and elements added, the novel was published in 2021 by horror publisher Severed Press.

In December of 2021, I am pleased to announce that my short story, “Shards of a Broken Sword” appears in Shrapnel: The Official BattleTech Magazine Issue #7! I had a total blast working on this story and working with the team at Catalyst Game Labs to make sure it aligned with the IP.

Since writing the story (and awhile before then) I have delved deep into the BattleTech universe by means of reading the fiction. I’ve become completely addicted to the books and universe, and (hopefully) look forward to continuing to contribute to the IP in the future!

In September of 2022, my next BattleTech story was released. “Rain of Metal” appears in a very special double length issue of Shrapnel Magazine (Shrapnel: The Official BattleTech Magazine Issue #10)! I’m honored to once again be featured with all these great BattleTech authors.

In 2024, my novel based on the show Primeval: New World will be coming out! As a huge Primeval: New World fan, writing this was a dream come true! The novel is called Primeval: New World – The Ascent, and will be released by Primal Publishing.

In 2025, it was with great excitement that I was able to work with Commando Comics (DC Thomson) to produce a script for Commando, the longest running war comic! The script is titled Feeding Frenzy, and is based on the actual historical encounter of the U.S.S. Indianapolis. As a HUGE fan of UK comics, this was one of the highlights of 2025. I hope I’m invited back to write more, as this was a thrill to research and craft!

In 2025, I was honored to write a short story for the IP Shadowrun, which appeared in Augment: Issue #04! The story is called “No Loose Ends”! It was a pleasure to write again for Catalyst Game Labs and Topps!

Media tie-ins are any work of fiction or non fiction that tie-in with intellectual property, like film novelizations, video game fiction, RPG fiction, and adapted novels.

Media tie-ins are my passion to write! It feels great knowing that you’ve contributed to a known IP and that you’ve written a licensed canonized piece of fiction that now exists within that universe.

The problem with writing media tie-ins however: the gigs are very difficult to come by! I am actively seeking tie-in gigs for my writing portfolio.
